DESCRIPTION

DICE is an innovative cell system composed of cube formations that appear as stacked blocks. Each cell is angled to create striking light and shadow effects, giving the ceiling a sculptural and geometric depth. he result is a bold, architectural feature that transforms any space with a sense of rhythm, perspective, and visual intrigue.

INSULATION
  • Acoustic Black Fleece; Royalin®
    Heat bonded nonwoven and non-flammable sound-absorbent acoustic black felt with surface-burning characteristics for flame-spread index = 5 and smoke-developed index = 25 as per ASTM E84.

  • Rockwool Blocks
    Conforming to ASTM C612 and equivalent BS 3958-5 are provided for acoustic Insulation and fire hazard.
SURFACE FINISH
COATING

Polyester Pre-Coated:
Top Coat: 5 Microns Primer + 25 Microns Polyester paint applied in a continuous coil coating process ensuring uniform coating and absolute adhesion.

Reverse Coat: 5 – 7 Microns Primer for extra tile protection.

Polyester Post Powder Caoted:
Electrostatic Polyester Powder Coating applied in a nominal thickness of 70-80 microns.

ACOUSTICS
  • Tested and compliant for noise reduction, sound absorption and sound attenuation.

    Acoustic Black Fleece only: Maximum NRC = 0.80 as per ASTM C423

    DNCW = 46 as per BS EN 20140-9

    Acoustic Black Fleece with Rockwool as per ASTM C612 Maximum NRC = 0.98

    Maximum CAC achieved: 46 dB

COATING CERTIFICATE
  • Polyester pre-painted Aluminium as per ASTM-B209M specification.

  • Tested under standard conditions and performed as per ECCA methods and under EN1396 norms.
SCRUBBABILITY
  • Endures up to 150 scrubs as per ATSM 02486.
FIRE PERFORMANCE
  • Non-Combustible as per BS 476: Part 6.

  • Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame as per BS 476 Part 7.

  • Non-Flammable Class A as per ASTM E84.
HUMIDITY & CORROSION
  • Humidity Resistance = 95% as per ASTM D2477.

  • Corrosion Resistance as per ASTM B 117-73, salt spray tested for 1000 hours.
DIRT RESISTANCE
  • Excellent resistance to dirt/grease for lasting performance and decreased maintenance.
ANTI-BACTERIAL

Stove enameled finish with anti-bacterial properties that prohibits bacterial growth as per JIS Z2801:2000

Environmentally friendly material with processes contributing to LEED-NC building requirements

  • 10 Years against any manufacturing defects from date of completion of manufacturing of products, which includes: corrosion, painting de-lamination and blistering.

LIGHT REFLECTANCE

The light reflectance of the ceiling is 0.85 and tested as per ASTM E 1477

WASHABILITY

Washable by applying any household mild detergent on the surface then wiping with a soft cloth; tested as per ASTM D4828

SUSPENSION SYSTEM

MATADOR™ Lay-in tiles consists of tiles that are designed to be laid onto a standard exposed 2-way T-grid system. The grid is comprised of a pre-punched main runner interconnected with cross runners to form a grid module. It should be installed in accordance with the ASTM C636 standard.
